TCC was founded in 2011 by Alan Helps, whose lifelong passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients inspired a career focused on excellence in catering. From an early age, Alan recognised the value of food prepared with care and integrity—a belief that continues to drive the company today.
Alan trained at the renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine and built a diverse career spanning Michelin-starred restaurants, award-winning gastropubs, luxury hotels, and high-end banqueting. This wide-ranging experience gave him the skills and insight to launch a catering business rooted in creativity, precision, and personal service.
From the beginning, Alan’s vision for TCC was to deliver exceptional, ingredient-led catering tailored to each client’s unique needs. His commitment to quality and personalisation has earned TCC a loyal client base across London and Surrey, many of whom have remained with the company since its inception.
Alan continues to be involved in all aspects of the business, staying inspired by fine dining, global food trends, and wine pairing. Under his leadership, TCC has grown into a respected, multi-award-winning enterprise—most recently recognised with the 2025 Runnymede Business Award and Surrey Business Awards Catering Company of the Year.
